Sarah Palin

I haven't posted anything since May because every time I start to write something My mind goes blank. Is this what is called writers block? Anyhow, It took the RNC and John MCcain's pick of Sarah Palin as His running mate to spur Me into action. Shit fire, what a freak show. Things are getting crazier by the day. I could only bring Myself to watch bits and pieces of the Republican convention the majority of it I had to read about. At least by reading I could take a break when My brain overloaded and I was at the point of smashing something.My first reaction to MCcain's choice for VP was. WTF Who the hell is Sarah Palin? This was followed by. What the hell is Sarah Palin? As for Who She is. According to the Repubs She is the greatest thing to come down the road since the model t She is governor of Alaska, a former mayor of a huge metropolis of 7000 to 8000 people and on top of that She has had experience with the PTA. Wow, pretty impressive huh. As for what She is. She is a life time member of the NRA, an avid hunter, an evangelical christian and a goddamn lunatic. I mean shit, what is wrong with people Who say things like, "She is a breath of fresh air." or "She has energized the Republican Party." In My humble opinion She is far from a breath of fresh air. Smells like bullshit to Me and a lot of it. What motivates the right wing to praise Someone Who is so unqualified for the position of vice president of this country? Is it stupidity, insanity, a genetic flaw? I don't know but I do know that something is wrong. Sarah Palin is everything this world doesn't need. She is a shill for big oil, She has no respect for the environment, She believes that creationism is valid science, She claims to be pro life but obviously this applies only to American fetuses because She would gleefully bomb another country and kill thousands of innocent people. (perhaps gleefully is a little strong, let's just say willingly) She denies that global warming is taking place even though there is plenty of evidence of it. Isn't the rapid melting of the arctic ice cap a hint that something is bad wrong? Or has She not noticed this inconvenient fact. I could go on and on and on but I better stop here. All I can say is that these are some very scary and dangerous People Who would love to continue running Our government. We really can't afford to let that happen. I am not a big Obama fan but I believe He would do the least amount of damage and possibly do some good. I suggest We vote Democrat. (Not that it will mean much here in Kansas.)
